About Me
My name is Sean Nolen. I am excited about making a life changing career move. I have a vast and well-rounded background, which will allow me to work with and relate to a diverse clientele. In my Pastoral care position, I counseled adults and teenagers with mental health and substance abuse issues. I then had the opportunity to start an equipment leasing and sales company. We were successful while we ran the business for 22 years. As an entrepreneur I learned every facet of business and how to motivate my employees. Our company was driven by sales, therefore it was imperative that I knew how to understand a wide range of personalities. After dealing with substance abuse and now having many years of sobriety, I have found peace in my life, I now want to give back and help those dealing with addiction and mental health issues. I am currently employed at Hartgrove Hospital as an Mental Health Specialist, where I facilitate group sessions twice a day. In these group sessions I am working with people who have mental health and substance abuse issues. I am also currently enrolled at College of DuPage, where I will be receiving my CADC this May 2022. I will also have my CRSS in the Fall of 2022. My past and current careers, along with my education, have given me a head start and I am ready to start helping those still in need.
